The whole path in the order it happens.
Everything on this site in the sequence you would actually meet it, with honest timings.
This is the step that is different here and the one people get backwards. With four options accepted, the choice has to happen before acquisition, because obtaining the coin you actually wanted is slower than every other part of the process. Deciding at the checkout screen means paying with whatever you happen to hold, which is a decision made by accident.
Information, not goods. Whether the vendor communicates, whether the packaging is sane, whether the stated handling time was honest. A small order buys exactly that information at a fraction of the exposure, which is why the size of a first order should never track how good the profile looks.
Recent feedback with dates rather than a lifetime total. The dispute count set against the order count rather than read alone. Whether the listing states what arrives and in what window, because most disputes are expectation gaps rather than dishonesty. A large old number with nothing lately is a reason for caution rather than comfort.
After the order is placed rather than before. Releasing escrow because a seller asked politely, or moving the conversation somewhere off the platform because it seemed faster. Both remove the protection while the order is still in flight, and both are requests honest sellers sometimes make, which is exactly why the answer has to be a standing rule rather than a judgement.
Confirm only when the package has arrived and matches. If it has not, open a dispute rather than waiting politely, because the automatic release timer keeps running and a dispute is what pauses it. Then withdraw whatever balance is left rather than leaving it against a future order.
